A Care Alliance
When two leaders in healthcare come together, patients see the difference.
Last year, Cheyenne Radiology and Cheyenne Regional Medical Center joined in a venture to centralize and expand women’s health services, including screening and diagnostic imaging, in southeast Wyoming.
David Haid, CEO of Cheyenne Radiology, says the alliance with Cheyenne Regional is “an exciting way for us to keep enhancing quality of life through affordable, convenient and exceptional healthcare.”
This partnership allows Cheyenne Radiology and Cheyenne Regional to expand their services and staff and improve patient experience in a way neither entity could achieve on its own. Now, Cheyenne Regional’s staff and equipment, passion and expertise, live and work with those of Cheyenne Radiology, at Cheyenne Women’s Imaging Pavilion (CWIP).
Currently, CWIP is the only nationally certified breast imaging center in southeast Wyoming, and it’s an Accredited Facility through the American College of Radiology for Breast MRI, Breast Ultrasound, and Mammography.
How does this help women in the region?
All women deserve access to quality healthcare. The partnership allows Cheyenne Radiology and Cheyenne Regional to expand their services and staff and improve patient experience to provide even more women with affordable, convenient care.
Does this partnership affect any other imaging services at Cheyenne Radiology or Cheyenne Regional?
It does not. The partnership is limited to women’s imaging services. All other imaging services at Cheyenne Radiology and Cheyenne Regional will remain unaffected.
Can I keep seeing my regular doctor?
Yes! Existing patients of both parties can continue to see their regular doctor for consultations and follow-ups, but women’s imaging services will now be done at CWIP, housed at Cheyenne Radiology’s facilities.
The care alliance between Cheyenne Radiology and Cheyenne Regional to operate CWIP is important; it means offering accessible and exceptional care to more women than ever.
